Adjective clause


Who : Sebagai pengganti subjek orang.

            ex: The girl came here just now.
                   She called you last night.
            > The girl who called you last night came here just now.

Whom: Sebagai pengganti objek orang.

            ex: The man works near my school
                  You helped him last night.
            > The man who you helped him last night works near my school.

Whose : sebagai pengganti milik benda/orang

            ex : The boy is crying loudly.
                   His mother doesn’t buy an ice cream.
            > The boy whose mother doesn’t buy an ice cream.

Which/that : Sebagai pengganti subjek/objek orang/benda

            ex : The cat is very fat.
                   It is under the tree.
            > the cat which is under the tree is very fat.

Where : Sepagai pengganti subjek/objek tempat.

            ex : The house is very big.
                   Luna lives in the house.
            > The house where Luna lives in is very big.

When : Sebagai pengganti subjek/objek waktu

            ex : I remember the day.
                   I met Rani on that day.
            >I remember the day when i met Rani on.

Fill in the blank using correct Adjective Clause!
1.     The girl..........is crying now is Della.
2.     The man.........I saw last week was Mr.Yoso.
3.     We are studying sentences..........contain Adjective Clause.
4.     The girl..............Mother is a doctor.
